Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Qualdea uses personal information submitted through this website or provided during an initial business enquiry.

Last updated: 30 August 2026

Qualdea uses the minimum information needed to respond to enquiries and understand whether a workflow may be suitable for further exploration. Please do not send patient-identifiable, pseudonymised, clinical, safeguarding or other confidential NHS information through this website.

Who we are

Qualdea operates this website and is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

For privacy questions, rights requests or concerns, email info@qualdea.co.uk.

Information we collect

When you use the enquiry form or contact us, we may collect:

  • Your name, work email address and optional telephone number
  • Your organisation and role
  • The workflow or operational problem you choose to describe
  • Any subsequent correspondence and notes from initial discussions

The website and its hosting services may also process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages and security or server logs.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to and manage your enquiry
  • Understand the workflow or operational problem you have described
  • Arrange and prepare for an initial conversation
  • Decide whether the Qualdea approach may be relevant
  • Maintain the security, availability and performance of the website
  • Meet legal, regulatory or record-keeping requirements where applicable

We do not use website enquiries to make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell personal information.

Our lawful bases

We normally rely on our legitimate interests in responding to genuine business enquiries, understanding potential client needs, protecting the website and managing business relationships. Where an enquiry leads towards a contract, we may also process information to take steps at your request before entering into that contract. We may process information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

Who receives your information

Access is limited to people who need the information for the purposes above. We may use trusted hosting, email and IT service providers that process information on our behalf. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators or public authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.

If a service provider processes information outside the UK, we will rely on an applicable lawful transfer mechanism or other protection required by data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or active business relationship, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. We review information and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer required.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability. You can exercise a relevant right by emailing info@qualdea.co.uk.

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Tell us if you want us to stop using your information in this way.

Cookies and website analytics

We use essential cookies and similar technologies where needed for the operation, security and performance of this website. WordPress may also set cookies for authorised administrators when they sign in.

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website. This may include pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, and interactions such as downloads or form completions. Google Analytics may process online identifiers such as IP addresses, but Qualdea does not use Analytics to identify individual visitors.

Non-essential Analytics processing is controlled through the website consent banner. You can accept, refuse or change your preferences. Our lawful basis for non-essential Analytics cookies and the resulting processing is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.

We use Google Consent Mode and the WordPress Consent API to communicate your choice to compatible website services. Google may process information outside the UK using applicable contractual and data-transfer safeguards. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.

Complaints

Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint for current guidance.

We may update this notice when the website, our services or relevant legal requirements change. The latest version will always appear on this page.
